But what does it mean for worship leaders, musicians and people who just want to worship? What do you see when you consider the technological changes that have taken place in the years between 1993 and 2013…

* the liberation of creativity or the death of collaboration? 

* welcome progress or pressure to perform?

* the rise and rise of a massive brand or the defeat of competition?

* one of the major influences in the growth of the modern worship movement or a happy coincidence?

* or maybe you just see it as far less weight to carry around. 

Whatever you see, technology’s last two decades have changed us all, because worship and culture and creativity are always connected. How deep that change goes, and how good or bad it has been might take a little longer to figure out.

One more thing… what on earth will the 2033 picture look like?
